The Sachtler Video 18 S2 ENG 2 CF tripod system comprises a Video 18 S2 head, ENG 2 CF carbon fibre tripod legs, a floor triangle and a padded bag. The fluid head has a load capacity of 2 to 23 kg and supports DSLR, ENG and digital cinema cameras. It offers 16 levels of counterbalance and 7 levels of pan and tilt friction, along with locks for each axis. The head is packed with features such as temperature resistance, a Touch&Go quick-release camera plate, a storage compartment for spare camera screws and an illuminated spirit level.
The fluid head attaches to the tripod via a 100mm ball. With the head attached, it offers a height adjustment range of 67 to 168 cm and folds down to 89 cm. The ground triangle improves the tripod’s stability when used with heavy loads and protects delicate floor surfaces.
